Just Beer can now officially announce we are CAMRA Nottinghamshire Pub of the Year 2017! The pub has scooped the prestigious award for the second time in seven years and the certificate was presented yesterday by Alan Ward, CAMRA Regional Organiser for Nottinghamshire. Last Sunday 24th February, saw Just Beer Micropub presented with the Newark CAMRA Pub of the Year trophy for the second successive year. The top trophy was presented by Ron Allison, who also nominated Just Beer for the prize, after new Newark CAMRA branch Chairman David Moore had made a short speech noting that the award was testament to the quality and consistency of beer in the pub. Just Beer Micropub took top honours to become Newark Business of the Year 2012 at last night’s prestigious Newark Business Awards dinner, held at the magnificent Kelham Hall dome and organised by the Newark Advertiser. After winning the Most Successful New Business category, Just Beer was announced as overall winner from the twenty-four finalists and eight category winners at the end of the night, and the award was presented by guest speaker Jo Farley, co-founder of Green & Black’s chocolate. …
